Trust and safety

How Hike Hunt Fish protects both guests and landowners.

  1. 1

Every listing is reviewed by a person

Before a listing goes live we check that the photos show the real property, the address resolves, the pin is on the land, and the host has confirmed ownership or authority to list it.

  2. 2

    Signed waivers for every guest

Each member of a party signs an activity-specific release electronically. We store the signed document, a timestamp and a tamper-evident hash.

  3. 3

License checks when hosts require them

Guests upload their state license or hunter-education card and our team verifies it. Hosts see the status, never the document.

  4. 4

    Locations stay private until booked

Search shows an approximate area only. Exact locations are shared only after a confirmed booking, and contact details in messages stay hidden until then.

  5. 5

    Payments stay on the platform

Cards are processed by Stripe. Hosts are paid after guests arrive, and refunds follow a published policy.
