1. What we collect
Account details (name, email, phone, date of birth), profile content, listing content and property locations, booking and payment records (payment card details are held by Stripe, not Hike Hunt Fish), messages sent on the Platform, signed waivers, uploaded license documents, device and usage data.
2. How we use it
To run the marketplace: matching guests and hosts, processing payments, sharing arrival details after a booking is confirmed, verifying licenses, sending transactional email, preventing fraud, and improving the Platform. We do not sell personal information.
3. What hosts and guests see
Hosts see a guest's name, profile, reviews, party size and license verification status (never the license image). Guests see a host's name, profile and reviews. Exact property addresses and gate codes are shared with guests only after a confirmed booking. Phone numbers and emails in messages are hidden until a booking is confirmed.
4. Service providers
Supabase (database and storage), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments and identity for hosts), Mapbox (maps), Resend (email). Each processes data only to provide its service.
5. Retention and your rights
Signed waivers and booking records are kept for at least the applicable statute of limitations. You may request a copy or deletion of other personal data by emailing support@hikehuntfish.com; some records must be retained for legal reasons.
6. Children
The Platform is not directed to children under 13 and accounts require users to be 18 or older.
