Terms of Service

1. The platform

Hike Hunt Fish, LLC ("Hike Hunt Fish", "we") operates hikehuntfish.com and related services (the "Platform"). Hosts list recreational access to land they own or control; guests book that access. Hike Hunt Fish does not own, control, inspect or manage any property and does not guide, outfit or supervise any activity.

By creating an account you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and, if you host, the Host Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to create an account or make a booking. Minors may participate only as part of a booking made by an adult who accepts responsibility for them and signs on their behalf where required.

3. Bookings and payments

Prices are set by hosts. The total shown at checkout includes Hike Hunt Fish's guest service fee. Payment is processed by Stripe. For request-to-book listings your payment method is saved and charged only if the host accepts. Hosts receive their share after the trip begins.

Cancellations follow the policy shown on the listing and at checkout, plus a 24-hour free-cancellation window when the trip is at least 7 days away. Service fees are refunded only within that window. No refunds are given for weather, conditions, or harvest results.

4. Your responsibilities as a guest

You are solely responsible for holding every license, permit, tag and stamp required by law; for following all federal, state and local regulations including seasons, bag limits and legal methods; for the safe handling of firearms, archery equipment and vehicles; and for following the host's rules and instructions.

Outdoor recreation is inherently dangerous. You assume all risks of participation. Each member of your party must sign the host's release of liability before arrival.

5. Conduct

No harassment, discrimination, trespass beyond the booked property, poaching, damage to property, crops or livestock, or taking payments or communications off the Platform to avoid fees. Violations may result in cancellation without refund and account termination.

6. Reviews and content

Reviews must be honest and based on a completed booking. We may remove content that violates these Terms. You grant Hike Hunt Fish a license to display content you post on the Platform.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Platform is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hike Hunt Fish disclaims all warranties and is not liable for injury, death, property damage, or losses arising from any booking or activity. Our aggregate liability to you is limited to the fees you paid to Hike Hunt Fish in the twelve months before the claim.

8. Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina. Disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis, except that either party may bring claims in small-claims court.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
