How it works
Hike Hunt Fish connects people who want a day on private land with the landowners who have it.
For guests
- 1
Find the right property
Search by species, water, trail difficulty, dates and party size. Every listing shows acreage, what is on the property, host rules and the exact price per hunter, angler, rider or party.
- 2
Book the day, the trip or the season
Instant Book confirms right away. Request to book gives the landowner 24 hours to accept, and you are not charged until they do. Guided trips are booked by seat, and seasonal leases go from inquiry to proposal to a signed contract.
- 3
Sign the waiver and upload your license
Every member of your party signs the host's release electronically from a link. Where a state license is required, upload a photo and we verify it before arrival details are released.
- 4
Get the gate code
Once confirmed, your trip page shows the exact pin, directions, parking and the gate code. You can message the host at any time.
For landowners
- 1
List on your terms
Set the price, who can book, how many parties a day, rest days between groups, rules, minimum age and required gear. A person reviews every listing before it goes live.
- 2
Every guest signs your waiver
Use our activity templates or write your own. Signed copies with a timestamp are stored on every booking. Hunting and fishing guests upload licenses before they receive your gate code.
- 3
Accept requests, or let Instant Book work
Requests expire after 24 hours if you do not answer. Block dates, set weekend and season prices, and add lodging, guiding or processing as add-ons.
- 4
Get paid the day after arrival
Guests pay up front through Stripe. Your payout reaches your bank 24 hours after the trip starts. There are no subscriptions or listing fees.
Fees, explained
Guests pay a service fee that is shown before checkout. Hosts keep their price minus a commission. Both appear on every quote and every payout, with nothing hidden. Current rates and the refund tiers are on the FAQ and cancellation policies pages.
